Migrating to SynergyCP#
Already running your bare-metal operation on another platform? We’ve helped providers move to SynergyCP from a variety of provisioning and DCIM products, and we’d love to help you do the same.
Free assisted migrations#
Migrations to SynergyCP are free. Our team will work with you to move your inventory — servers, IP space, switch and PDU mappings, IPMI credentials, and clients — into SynergyCP. If you run into any issue at any point, or would simply rather not do it yourself, open a ticket and we’ll take it from there.
The most reliable migrations happen when we can look at your existing data directly. The export scripts in this section gather a copy of your current platform’s inventory into a single archive that you can attach to a support ticket. From there, we review the data with you, map it onto SynergyCP’s data model, and handle the import — typically writing a migration tailored to your specific setup.
How a migration works#
- Export your data. Each guide in this section includes a script that collects your existing platform’s inventory into an archive. The scripts are read-only: they never modify your existing installation.
- Open a ticket. Contact support and attach the export archive (or ask us for a secure upload location if it’s large). If the script didn’t work in your environment, that’s fine — open a ticket anyway and we’ll gather the data together.
- We map and import. We review the export with you, confirm how servers, IPs, and clients should be represented in SynergyCP, and run the import on a fresh SynergyCP installation.
- Verify and cut over. You verify the imported inventory, run a few test OS reloads, and switch production traffic over on your schedule. Your old platform stays untouched throughout, so there’s always a way back.
Supported source platforms#
- NOC-PS — provisioning appliance
- EasyDCIM — DCIM and provisioning platform
- Tenantos — server management platform
Coming from something else — a homegrown system, spreadsheets, or another product? We can work with nearly any structured data source. Open a ticket and tell us what you’re running.
